American Warrior Outdoors

Organizing outdoor events for Veterans can provide them with opportunities for camaraderie,
support and engagement with nature. Outdoor activities have been shown to have numerous
physical, mental and emotional benefits, making them especially valuable for Veterans who
may be dealing with the challenges of transitioning to civilian life or coping with service-related
issues.
By creating a space where veterans can come together and participate in various outdoor
activities, we’re not only fostering a sense of community but also promoting overall well-being.
Whether it's organizing hikes, camping trips, fishing outings, hunting opportunities, team sports,
or other outdoor adventures, these events can provide Veterans with a sense of purpose,
connection, and a chance to build lasting friendships with fellow Veterans who understand their
experiences.
Additionally, participating in outdoor activities can promote physical fitness, which is crucial for
maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Being in nature has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and
depression, and can contribute to improved mental health and a sense of peace.

Overall, our efforts to bring Veterans together through outdoor events can make a significant
positive impact on their lives. By fostering a supportive community and providing opportunities
for outdoor recreation, we're helping Veterans enhance their well-being, build connections, and
create lasting memories.

US ARMY - Disabled Veteran

I come from Cape May, NJ. Since a young age, fishing has been my unwavering passion. I joined the US Army in 2006 as a Military Police Officer stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. Later, I transitioned to become a Firefighter/EMT, where I met my wife Cindy. Our greatest joy, our daughter Erin, brightens our lives. Currently, I wholeheartedly embrace the role of a Stay-At-Home Dad, treasuring moments spent with Erin and finding solace in fishing during my free time.
